G-Camp is a fully funded, 16-day immersive geology field experience for 5th–12th grade science teachers hosted by the Texas A&M University Department of Geology & Geophysics. Taking place July 11–26, 2026, the program begins with a two-day kickoff in College Station, Texas, before traveling by bus through Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado to explore real-world geological features such as faults, volcanic landscapes, and glacial valleys. About 30 teachers are selected each year, and while participants are responsible for getting themselves to College Station, all program travel, lodging, and a meal stipend are covered.
