Project Ocean is a comprehensive teacher professional development course rooted in physi­cal oceanography. It is directed toward improving teacher effectiveness in generating interest and understanding in science, technology, and mathematics among pre-college students.

    Project Ocean (then known as the Maury Project) was the first professional door I entered which led to a cascade of paid opportunities.
