Regional Resources

Welcome to the NESTA Regional Resources page. This page has been created to help guide our members toward educator resources in each of our regions. At this time, we have organized regional information into categories such as Associations, Field Trip Locations and/or PD Providers, Government Agencies, and other miscellaneous information.

Please check out the resources listed in your region. For those of you that are living near one or more regions, you may need to look at more than one region to discover which resources are located closest to you. If you feel we have missed important resources, please feel free to pass on these resources to your local Regional Director.

Please select your Region to view Regional Resources. We are still building these resource pages, so if your Region does not have a page yet, keep checking back.

A bill has been introduced in the Kansas legislature this week that would prohibit the promotion of sustainability.
Here is a link to the one-page bill:

Scientists have long believed that lava erupted from certain oceanic volcanoes contains materials from the early Earth’s crust. But decisive evidence for this phenomenon has proven elusive.

Scientists have determined the temperature near the Earth’s center to be 6000 degrees Celsius, 1000 degrees hotter than in a previous experiment run 20 years ago.
