NESTA Press and Public Relations Guidelines

In order to avoid confusion when handling requests for official NESTA position statements, the only Officers delegated to respond "in the name of NESTA" shall be the President and Executive Director. They should consult with each other and additional NESTA Executive Board members before releasing a statement. Other NESTA Officers and members should refer inquiries to the President and/or Executive Director, and make clear that only the President and/or Executive Director officially represent NESTA for press and public relation matters. If other Officers find themselves in a position where they are asked to speak on behalf of NESTA, they should use best judgment in their comments, but as soon as possible inform the President and Executive Director about the situation.
